Findlay Market Opening Day Parade Information

 

Schedule:

 

End of 1^st Period:  All participants report to Music Room

-         Change into uniform

-         Receive final instructions

-         Load instruments and equipment on bus

 

Approx. 9:00 AM – Bus leaves

 

Approx. 9:45 AM – unload at Findlay Market

-         Only items that will travel with you during the parade will be unloaded!

-         Leave instrument cases, etc on the bus

 

10:00 – 10:30 AM – relax, visit restrooms

 

10:30 AM – begin warm-ups and lineup

 

11:00 AM – Parade begins

 

Approx. 11:35 - begin marching

 

Approx. 12:35 PM - finish parade, load bus

 

Approx. 1:00 – 1:45 PM  Lunch

-         Bring lunch money!!!!!!!!!!!

 

2:15 – 2:25 PM – return to Badin

 

Other notes:

 

Check the weather before you leave home.  Wear layers if it will be chilly.  Green and white out-of-uniform apparel will be appropriate for 1^st Period.

 

Bring all uniform parts EXCEPT hat boxes/hats with you.  You will receive a Reds hat for the parade.  Bring your parka, too!

 

Remember BLACK SOCKS!!!!!

 

Music is “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” and cadences.

 

Elementary students may meet Mr. Moore in the Music Room beginning at 7:15 AM.

 

***Remember your permission slips if you did not turn one in for St. Pat’s!!***
